Hello steemians!
Hope you all are happy and healthy! Today I am very happy because Monsoon season has come in our State, West Bengal ! For days It's raining cats and dogs all day without any rest. The sky is dark all the time with huge amount of clouds which were eagerly waiting to came down as rain and kiss the dry soil! Now they get their permission to do their job and they are doing it perfectly.... 😄😃😀😎
Now the picture you are looking to is not a pond my friends. In fact, it is a field where we used be play cricket and football. But due to heavy rainfall it now becames a pool where various kinds of birds are coming to eat small fishes, bugs and other small creatures that live in water.
Now, obviously I am not an Ornithologist, who are specialist in identifying birds . But we called it 'Bok' bird in our local Bengali language. I searched for it's name in Google and found that in Engliah it is called Cattle Egret!
Hmm.... Google knows everything!
There are also a number of different birds that migrate in here in this season , some of them are Green bee eater, intermediate egret, pond heron, black hooded oriole and many more.
Due to not having a digital camera or DSLR, I was unable to click a closer look of the birds, i tried to zoom in to get a detailed view! But as we all know, mobile camera's digital zoom is too terrible to watch. Thou I tried my best and this is the result.
Haha! I knew you will be disappointed... Don't worry friends... I am saving money to buy a dslr and soon will buy one! I just need all of your care n support. Your appreciations gives me a lot of energy to continue my work !
