[Текст на српском] It was anticipated, as every year, that the tournament lasts for two days. Unfortunately, this year we were hit by unprecedently bad weather. The temperature dropped to just 5 degrees Celsius, and the rain keeps falling, from Saturday, May 4th, when the 28th Traditional May Day Street Soccer Tournament was officially opened in the settlement of “Miloje Đak” in Smederevo, Serbia…

The participants were divided into two groups with five teams each, and on the first day the qualification part was played. Winners receive cash prizes, and cups for the best team and best scorer are also provided.

The first two teams, in the best sport spirit, insisted on a joint photo:

And finally, alea iacta est! I mean, the ball is kicked!

The first half passed in very careful measuring of the strength, as if it were a professional championship! Both teams played firmly in defense, and the audience has already begun to bother and worry if there will ever be some scores…

There were several close chances, but without the cange of results…

In the second half, a better physical readiness of the red team Fitness & Gym 300, came to the fore, they took full initiative, increased pressure…

…and finally “opened” opponents with a score…

Whites had to attack…

…and understandably, they remain vulnerable to counter-attacks.

In the end, 4:0 — the result to respect.

Doping!

A break between the two games will be used to clarify some rules of the tournament. Tournament organizers were unable to raise enough funds for paying antidoping controls to some of the world's most famous and expensive labs. That's why they came to the creative problem solving. Doping is allowed on this tournament to all! And everyone can choose their own doping!

And there you have it, since the conditions are equal for everyone in the most honest way, we will present two more teams from the following match:

This match was much more interesting from the very beginning, and the goals were plunged on both sides…

I think this game was finished with a 3:3 draw. Forgive your reporter, he is not even close to the fitness of the participants, and it is very difficult to simultaneously monitor field events through the lens and remember the correct results, so that the next two games yours truly unfortunately could not follow careful enough…

…somewhat because of a rising fatigue, and somewhat because of curious neighbors who wanted to know more about when and where, these photos would appear.

And it was all the more exciting until the end, and at times it was fierce:

Fortunately, the first day ended as it started — with friendship and joy. We hope that weather conditions will allow the tournament to continue tomorrow, and that we will have photos from the celebration of a trophies delivery.

See you soon!
