The Rock / Der Fels

No, it won't be a post about Dwayne ;)

In front of the still relatively dark, violet-colored morning sky, I noticed these free-standing trees on the right side of the mountain.

Nein, das wird kein Bericht über Dwayne ;)

Vor dem noch relativ dunklen, violett gefärbten Morgenhimmel sind mir diese frei stehenden Bäume rechts am Abhang des Berges aufgefallen.

This mountain is more of a wooded rock than a mountain, and I don't think it is an important mountain. It is only 1,821 meters high and I even needed quite some time to find it's name.

Dieser Berg ist eher ein bewaldeter Felsen als ein Berg, und ich glaube nicht, dass von großer Bedeutung ist. er ist nur 1.821 Meter hoch und ich habe sogar eine Weile gebraucht, um seinen Namen herauszufinden.

Nevertheless, the last time when I was driving over the Vršič pass at sunrise I took a closer look at it.

Trotzdem habe ich ihn letztes Mal, als ich bei Sonnenaufgang über den Vršič Pass gefahren bin, etwas näher betrachtet.

These trees look so small and filigree, and they are nothing special either, like this rock on which they grow, but somehow I liked them.

I also liked the snow, which was lit by the morning sun and laid at the top of the mountain like a pink cap on the bald head of a man, so I didn't want to keep the photos from you.

Diese Bäume schauen so klein und filigran aus, und auch sie sind nichts Besonderes, so wie dieser Felsen, auf dem sie wachsen, aber irgendwie haben sie mir gefallen.

Auch der von der Morgensonne angeleuchtete Schnee, der wie eine rosafarbene Kappe auf der Glatze eines Mannes am Kopf des Berges lag, hat mir gefallen, und deshalb wollte ich euch die Fotos auch nicht vorenthalten.
