Conspiracy exposed, on a beautiful and sublime Sunday!!!

I am about to reveal a huge conspiracy that is going on for decades and bedevils millions of vacationers! It is about time that someone finally take the stand and speak the whole shocking truth!

I live in Greece, a country blessed with countless amazing beaches and wonderful mild climate that makes it a desirable vacation destination for at least half of the year, from May till October.

Lucky Greeks, one could say, they have such a beautiful place to spend their holidays right in their doorstep. But here is the socking truth. People from all over the world are enjoying the pleasures of Greek summer at it's best, apart from the Greeks themselves!

The whole population has been convinced (or forced if not convinced) that August is the best month for their vacations. Millions of misled vacationers from inland (along with some Italians and a few others, victims of this abominable propaganda) are swarming about, in hope for some relaxing time enjoying the sea and the sun during the worst possible month of the summer!

Pictures like the ones I am sharing today (took them a few days back) can never be taken in August. Actually I counted, this year, only two (2!) days with no wind and annoying waves during the whole month and even in those rare occasions it was nothing like the total calmness and clarity that all the seaside population (including me ^_) is experiencing during spring and fall!

This is my cry for help in the name of the distressed August's vacationers, a call for global awareness for this holiday crime, a distress call to anyone that can help!

The place in the pictures is Mochlos, on the northeast side of Crete and a few km away from my home. If you like it you'll be more than welcome to visit it but, please, don't come in August :)
