Courtyard spaces. Leningrad and Gagarin Streets-3

If I ever begin to teach photography, then one of the tasks for the student will be to make a selection of interesting photographs that interest him. This is necessary in order to understand what exactly steals a person's attention, at what level of photographic development he is. Each photographer-teacher builds lessons based on their experience. I did the same.

One of the interesting architectural elements in this neighborhood is a huge arch in an apartment building.

On one side, a huge staircase leads up through the arch. And from the opposite (as in the photo above) there are almost no stairs. It turns out that parking in the courtyard is higher in level than on the side of the front of the house.

Various shops are located around the arch.

This special house has another walk-through tunnel.

But, unfortunately, it is closed. The exit leads to the roof of a store.

This is how this passage looks from afar.

Let's go back to teaching photography. At the very beginning of my career, I saved photos that I liked.

I assigned a year to the folder to make it easier to determine the period in life.

Now I look and see that I have outgrown almost all the saved pictures. This means that I have reached a certain level and now completely different photographs are stealing my attention.

Yes, I still keep photos.

Try it yourself and see in a year, if the pictures you saved still amaze you or you still do not understand how they were made, then you are marking time in one place.

I could share with you the masterpieces of photographic art to my taste, but I respect copyright.

In short, these are photos of different genres. It can be exceptional landscapes, graphics, but more often it is still reportage and genre photography.

I also like metaphysical photos of various European and American courtyards and streets at night.

I decided to take this idea as a basis, but my pictures are so different from others that you can hardly find it anywhere.

I have come across only a few photographers on the Internet who shoot something like this.

Studying all this metaphysics, I began to understand how a picture affects consciousness.

I used to feel something from the photos, but now I start to analyze.

Not only a high-quality image can steal your attention, but even an amateur one. It all depends on frequencies and measurements.

In simple words: you must have developed a taste, style, presentation.

You can feel it well on Instagram.

When you open an account, the level of the photographer is already visible on the thumbnails.

I just need to look for a couple of seconds and it becomes clear whether I will subscribe or not.
