We move to the right of the Narasimha temple. Actually, on this plate it is clearly written in English what is in front of us. It is useful to know at least a little English in order to translate such things yourself. Badavi Linga (Badaviling) temple.
The temple was built in honor of a beggar woman. Badva (Badava) translates as “beggar”. Well, beggars live pretty well here, as I see. Before us is a nondescript square structure with a poorly preserved gopur-style red brick top. But the entrance to the inside is for some reason blocked off by a metal lattice.
I already know what's inside! Since the temple is dedicated to Shiva, there is a hefty lingam inside! And so that the lingam is not touched by all sorts of tourists there, the entrance is fenced off. The lingam is for pilgrims only, and the rest can be viewed from afar. But there is also water there, as there is a canal.
And what about the water in India? Right! Sacred! Especially if it contains a drop of water from the Ganges River.
And this water is a small branch of the Ganges, Shiva controls the flow of the river.
Everything is bad with the ceiling, there is a hole instead. But saving on lighting is 100%!
Almost in every popular tourist place you will be offered to rub some garbage, toss a coin into a fountain, stand in a wild line to some black Madonna and rub it, and then all that remains is to make a wish and everything will come true. Almost every tourist city has it.

There is only one caveat - to throw a coin, you have to stick your hand through the metal bars of the grill, and this is wildly inconvenient. Well, we also can throw coin to the pedestal of Chizhik-Pyzhik in St. Petersburg , that we easy had some kind of lingam in Hampi.
Even the healthiest lingam is as much as 3 meters high, sticking out of the water. The main thing here is to take a coin heavier, not to waste time on trifles and throw a coin on top of the lingam. Hit the first time. Now I sit and have been waiting for all my dreams to come true for several years.

Wir bewegen uns rechts vom Narasimha-Tempel. Eigentlich ist auf dieser Platte klar in Englisch geschrieben, was vor uns liegt. Es ist nützlich, mindestens ein wenig Englisch zu sprechen, um solche Dinge selbst zu übersetzen. Badavi Linga (Badaviling) Tempel.
Der Tempel wurde zu Ehren einer Bettlerin erbaut. Badva (Badava) bedeutet übersetzt "Bettler". Wie ich sehe, leben Bettler hier ziemlich gut. Vor uns liegt eine unscheinbare quadratische Struktur mit einer schlecht erhaltenen roten Backsteinplatte im Gopur-Stil. Aber der Eingang nach innen ist aus irgendeinem Grund durch ein Metallgitter blockiert.
Ich weiß schon was drin ist! Da der Tempel Shiva gewidmet ist, befindet sich im Inneren ein kräftiger Lingam! Und damit der Lingam dort nicht von allen möglichen Touristen berührt wird, ist der Eingang eingezäunt. Der Lingam ist nur für Pilger und der Rest kann von weitem gesehen werden. Aber es gibt dort auch Wasser, da es einen Kanal gibt.
Und was ist mit dem Wasser in Indien? Richtig! Heilig! Besonders wenn es einen Wassertropfen aus dem Ganges enthält.
Und dieses Wasser ist ein kleiner Zweig des Ganges, Shiva kontrolliert den Flussfluss.
Mit der Decke ist alles schlecht, stattdessen gibt es ein Loch. Die Einsparung von Licht beträgt jedoch 100%!
Fast an jedem beliebten Touristenort wird Ihnen angeboten, etwas Müll zu reiben, eine Münze in einen Brunnen zu werfen, in einer wilden Linie zu einer schwarzen Madonna zu stehen und sie zu reiben, und dann bleibt nur noch ein Wunsch und alles wird wahr . Fast jede Touristenstadt hat es.
Haben Sie schon das Gefühl, dass der ganze Planet in die Erfüllung der Wünsche der Touristen gestürzt ist?

Ich bin übrigens der einzige, der es geschafft hat, eine Münze auf den Lingam zu bekommen. Aber nicht der Punkt.
Eigentlich ist der Lingam selbst langweilig und langweilig, es ist gut, dass sich daneben der Narasimha-Tempel befindet. Im zusammengesetzten Zustand ergänzen sich diese beiden Objekte.
