A beautiful day, with blue skies, a few white puffy clouds, and brilliant sunshine, only got better with a bicycle ride along country roads.
We passed by an old dairy about to be closed down soon.
And said "Hello" to a soon-to-be-unemployed dairy cow.
There's nothing better than a bend in the road. It always make me wonder, "What's just around..."
In this case, around the corner meant things only became better...that is, the pavement ended. The pine forest was magical.
Yet another bend in the road...railroad. Which reminded me of a riddle: "Railroad crossing, look out for the cars. Can you spell that, without any R's?" (Answer at the bottom of this page.)
The road signs on country roads have their own way of being interesting.
Like the dairy, an old orange packing house has seen better days as well.
And what's a ride without wildlife and animals?
To end the afternoon, we found some mulberries...mmm, and a location set up for an Easter, lakeside sunrise service.
It was a great day.
And the riddle answer...T-H-A-T. If you don,t get it, read the riddle again. :)
