THE TORNADO STRANGLER

I'll start this short, one-picture affair with the opening photograph of my yesterday's post. Or more precisely, the one and only picture here has that yesterday's photograph at its base. It isn't simply a copy but is very close to that. An hour ago, while browsing through some relatively old, last year's photographs, I found one shot with a friend of mine grabbing a branch of some old, contorted tree. Envisioning the tornado in the place of the branch came easy and natural, so I cut out the human element from an old picture and put it in the more recent one. Where it looks moderately funny.

When it comes to blogging here on HIVE, I feel the urge to publish something every day, and I like to create long lines of photographs in my posts. But today I wanna keep it short. Because it's my birthday. My real-life birthday. So I'm planning to visit quite a few places, quite a few friends, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to post something more complex before midnight brings this gloomy Wednesday to its inevitable end. I'll try to shoot & publish something for the Wednesday Walk, but there's no guarantee. So I think it's better to publish a short post right now, early in the morning, before the birthday action starts.

That's it. Have a great day ... or night, wherever on the planet you are. As always in these posts on HIVE, the one and only photo - collage is my work.
