I made this composition of two askew storage units as I explored the yard of a storage facility in Penn Valley, CA on New Year's day. The low side-light of afternoon winter months for shots like these seem to work much better than the direct summer sunlight.
Flat, deadpan full-frontal photographs of mundane-looking industrial, utilitarian, and residential buildings are often referred to as "new topographics".

I hope you enjoy!
