Some days of gold...

Golden hour, one week ago...

A truly golden affair, or realistically, an orange sky!
That's good enough, isn't it?!

We've been having mostly hot days, coupled with some rainy evenings
Some days it rains the whole day
Hence, some places have been experiencing floods

But, whenever there is a 'down'... there's always an 'up'
So, every few days, we get a golden sunset

And all's right with the world...

This time I thought I would start with a zoom-in shot
Also because I love bare branch trees... like this one
And its got some cool highlighted-by-the-sun clouds hanging just over them

Taking in the whole scene, this is what you see
Golden enough?

Don't know why, but 'holes' in the sky seem to attract me...
Like some gateway or window to the heavens above, or something like that!
To another realm... perhaps...

Coming down closer to earth, no less golden
I like that deep clear amber (orange, in less fancy terms...) backing the skyscrapers dwarfed by the distance...

One final shot as the shadows deepened...
Although the sky was almost pitch dark, a patch of gold still dominated
I do love every minute, every second of these moments with the glow still lingering, as if not wanting to bid a hasty goodbye...
