Mid-Autumn at Lac des Bouleaux (Birch lake)

I went hiking on Mont Saint-Bruno this weekend, as the trees were at the end of their autumnal death/transformation cycle and thus the leaves were of deep shades of oranges and brown, and the ground was richly carpeted by them; which give of a pleasant smell of decaying vegetation and also a fun sound as they were walked on.

The mountain contains three small lake, including Lac des Bouleaux:

These were shot with a Sony a77 camera , a Tamron 90mm f/2.8, and a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens with circular polarizing filter.
