Subway stations are usually places you rush through - places you want to leave as soon as possible. Very often, you don't even notice their beauty. So it happened that a woman approached me when I stood behind my tripod and my camera and photographed this corridor. She asked me what I was doing there. She didn't understand at all what should be worth photographing about this corridor, which she perhaps walks through every day. Maybe she would understand, if she looked at this picture 📷 That's one thing I love about photography: it can show you the beauty of things you usually overlook with your naked eye 👁️
U-Bahn-Stationen sind in der Regel Orte, durch die man eilt - Orte, die man so schnell wie möglich verlassen möchte. Sehr oft nimmt man ihre Schönheit gar nicht wahr. So kam es, dass mich eine Frau ansprach, als ich hinter meinem Stativ und meiner Kamera stand und diesen Gang fotografierte. Sie fragte mich, was ich dort mache. Sie verstand überhaupt nicht, was an diesem Korridor, den sie vielleicht jeden Tag durchläuft, fotografierenswert sein sollte. Vielleicht würde sie es verstehen, wenn sie sich dieses Bild ansehen würde 📷 Das ist etwas, das ich an der Fotografie liebe: Sie kann einem die Schönheit von Dingen zeigen, die man normalerweise mit bloßem Auge übersieht 👁️
