We Still Have Vikings In Norway

With stunning coastal landscapes, Kinn is an island in Flora Municipality, located as far west as you can come in Norway.

Every summer, starting in 1980, Kinnaspelet has been performed on this historic island. The play is based on myths around the old stone church in the medieval period (middle ages). The close proximity to the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature and coastal landscapes, encapsulates the mysterious stories, sagas and myths of the area, making for an ideal backdrop for this theatrical experience. It attracts over 3000 people every summer.
