Urbex Photography & Light Painting
A very different underground location near Berlin.
Empty for about thirty years you can still smell Diesel and History. Here you see a gem of urban exploration. When you go there on the weekend you find lots of people looking for a treasure. Popular many years ago Geocaching enthusiasts created a spot inside the tank.
Do you want to know what the entrance looks like?
The tank we photographed has the entrance on the left. The ramp on the right is sealed. You would need some heavy tools to get through the seal bars.
Checking out the top of the tank. From the outside, you really don't see the tank. It just looks like a little hill with trees and bushes on top. There are a few small holes that create light shafts during the daytime.
This is where we went in. Today the grid on the left side is also gone. The easy way in. ;-)
Here in this one, we walked around the rim with a red and white light.
Like always that's is a single exposure and the effects in the image are in-camera. Or better; happening during exposure and not in post-processing.
Just to see what else came out. That's the shot that I published before.
