**Español.** Bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog, espero que se encuentren muy bien. El día de hoy quisiera compartir con todos una de las actividades que he estado desarrollando para mis deberes de la universidad. En esta ocasión se trata de una actividad cultural. Nuestra profesora de cultura nos asignó realizar una entrevista a miembros de cualquier manifestación cultural de la localidad donde vivimos; gracias a un compañero conseguimos realizar la entrevista a un miembro de los Diablitos Danzantes de Tinaquillo. Supongo que quienes no conocen de esta actividad cultural se estarán preguntando, ¿Qué son? Pues permítanme contarles un poco sobre esta manifestación cultural.

This time it is a cultural activity. Our culture professor assigned us to conduct an interview to members of any cultural manifestation of the town where we live; thanks to a colleague we managed to conduct the interview to a member of the Diablitos Danzantes de Tinaquillo (Dancing Devils of Tinaquillo). I suppose that those who do not know about this cultural activity are wondering, what are they? Well let me tell you a little about this cultural manifestation.

Resulta que Los Diablitos es un acto cultural y religioso arraigado en varios lugares del mundo, incluido Venezuela. Esta manifestación nace como un rito cultural que rinde honor al Santísimo Sacramento del Altar, un ente físico, espiritual y simbólico dentro de la religión católica; el acto tiene lugar cada 9no jueves luego del jueves santo de la Semana Santa. >It turns out that Los Diablitos is a cultural and religious act rooted in various parts of the world, including Venezuela. Los Diablitos Danzantes realizan un baile peculiar cada Día del Corpus Cristi, día en el que se rinde homenaje al Santísimo y que, como dije antes, se celebra cada 9no jueves luego del Jueves Santo. En este baile se aprecian el esplendor y la vistosidad de esta danza que además involucra otros elementos como el sebucán, y la música queda a cargo del cuatro, las maracas y la misma indumentaria de los trajes con los cascabeles. >The Diablitos Danzantes perform a peculiar dance every Corpus Christi Day, a day in which homage is paid to the Holy Sacrament and that, as I said before, is celebrated every 9th Thursday after Holy Thursday. In this dance you can appreciate the splendor and colorfulness of this dance that also involves other elements such as the sebucán, and the music is provided by the cuatro, the maracas and the same clothing of the costumes with the bells.

El señor Luis muy amablemente nos recibió en el lugar donde la agrupación practica el baile que realizan y donde tienen un altar en honor al Santísimo Sacramento del Altar. En ese lugar pudimos desarrollar la entrevista y conocer un poco más de esta manifestación cultural. >Mr. Luis very kindly received us in the place where the group practices the dance they perform and where they have an altar in honor of the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. En Venezuela las primeras manifestaciones de esta danza datan de hace unos 400 años aproximadamente, como resultado de la colonización española de aquella época. >As a curious fact in the interview Mr. Luis told us that this act has been developing in the world for about 200 thousand years since some years after Christ this tradition was established.
