Sometimes you get lost in the moment... Previous to this photograph I had turned my strobes (lights) off due to bad visibility caused by the amount of krill and bait ball action. I had this particular Manta Ray do 10 rolls in front of me only an arms length away, which would have looked great with some light on the subject. Nevertheless it was an incredible interaction that I’ll never forget.
This was taken in one of Palau's most well known dive spots, the German Channel.
