This another entry of mine for the Photochain's Weekly contest.
Theme: Mother Nature.
Just as we arrived at the north side of the St. Ilija hill, and the noon sun was passing overhead, I noticed this stunning view stretching over the top of the surrounding pine woods.
The low morning haze was so thick, that one could clearly see the line on its upper end. I'm not sure why this effect is so pronounced at this time of the year, but I suspect it's due to the rapid change in temperatures (early mornings at this time of the year - early spring - can see below zero Celsius temperatures, and by the time it hits noon it's already 18 C).
