3000 HP delegation experiment - LONG TERM GOALS, part 2/2 [DO NOT RESTEEM]

INTRODUCTION

line2.png

In a previous post published yesterday (link below), I've shared with you all some basic information about our recent experiment, and today I would like to share more details about the long term goals for this initiative.

I would like to ask all those who are not familiar with the previous publication, to visit this link and read through it before you continue:
NEW INITIATIVE - 3000 HP delegation for our PH community's most active members, part 1/2

BUILDING new curation trail with @josevas217

line2.png

While talking to @josevas217, we came up with the idea of launching his own curation trail on both chains. Thanks to the fact that he is upvoting PH publications (focusing on those with 50/50 reward split) before all large upvotes are being placed - his curation rewards and his APR are very high.
Right now it's exceeding 20%, which is quite a solid result.

This allows him to make people interested in following his own curation trail and currently he already attracted many followers and this number is only growing. After all, it's easier to encourage people to join curation trail if they are confident, that their upvotes will be placed before large ones. Which will provide them with solid curation rewards.

From Jose's point of view - this is also an excellent solution, since he is the owner of this curation trail. He is building something, which will belong to him. This curation trail is his asset, his property. It will benefit his work in the future and allow him to grow his account even more.

LONG TERM GOAL

line2.png

Assuming that current @josevas217 efforts will turn out to be a success, my long term goal is to build several similar curation trails within the PH community.

Right now the ph-fund curation trail is not that attractive for new followers, since it is already being followed by some large accounts (like TheRising with it's >400k HP). So promoting a ph-fund curation trail is not an easy task anymore.

Once @josevas217 will attract more followers and we will discuss (brainstorm) ways of promoting it and attracting new users, then we will "multiply" it within Project.hope. Our next step will be to build new curation trails around those of you, who participate in this experiment and who managed to reach high APR.

It is important to understand, that this is going to be a slow and steady process. One, that requires long term planning and patience.

What are the benefits of this solution?

line2.png

The benefits in my opinion are quite obvious.

While growing his own curation trail, @josevas217 is increasing his own APR (since his upvote is placed first). Knowing that he can achieve high APR is a reason for me to use dlease.io to grow his account even more and I'm planning to dlease another 1000-2000 HP every month.

It's worth to mention, that difference between his real APR (20%) and the cost of renewing lease (around 14%) is his additional profit, coming in form of curation rewards.

Benefits for the entire community ....

line2.png
But that's not all ... growing that curation trail will be obviously bringing higher rewards to all PH community members, allowing us to grow as a team.

More users following our curation trails = more rewards for all of us.

More rewards = more funds coming to our community budget in the form of beneficiaries = higher ph-support voting power, since all liquid HP is being used to dlease extra hive power and grow this account = again higher rewards on your own posts, since our voting power will continue to grow.

It's a win-win-win scenario.
A scenario in which all those involved will focus on growing their own accounts and their own curation trails. Which I believe gives more motivation.

Hope I'm making sense so far?

IMPORTANT: MINDSET

line2.png

It is important to build a proper mindset.
I would like all of you (those who participate) to think about this initiative as an opportunity to build something for yourself. Consider growing your account voting power and building your own curation trail as building your own asset. Your own small long-term business.

Business, which will be benefiting you in a long term. Business, which will also benefit other members of our PH community.

And by doing so, by promoting your own curation trail - you will be also able to prove what you are capable of. If you can bring traffic to your own curation trail, then I will surely see it and it may open more opportunities for greater future collaboration.
I will get to know some of you much closer, learn more about you and learn to collaborate on a much deeper level. I will learn who I can rely on, who communicates well and who is sharing similar working culture. Those things matter to me.

TO SUMMARIZE:

line2.png

I hope to be able to build a group of several PH community curators, together with several curation trails managed by those users. It's going to be a slow and steady process and so far it seems that we're heading in the right direction (like I said: josevas is already reaching high APR and his curation trail is attracting more and more users, proving that this experiment is going in the right direction).

For the next few weeks, together with @josevas217 we will be helping those involved in our little experiment to reach high APR. And in the upcoming weeks, I will discuss the idea of launching your own curation trail with each one of you separately.

(one more time: you can check your own APR by visiting this site: https://hivestats.io/@username)

DO NOT RESTEEM

line2.png

Please, do not resteem this publication. I will share it personally with our community members and I do not need to attract unwanted attention from some haters.

Yours, Piotr
