3rd teacher of Khulna University who was finally sacked

Three teachers of Khulna University have been removed from their jobs on various charges including inciting student movement. The decision was taken at a meeting of the university syndicate on Saturday (January 23) at noon.
The three teachers are Assistant Professor of Bengali Discipline Abul Fazal, Lecturer of Bengali Discipline Shakila Alam and Lecturer of History and Civilization Discipline Haimanti Shukla Kaberi.

According to the university authorities, the students staged agitation on January 1 and 2 last year with various demands. During the agitation, 3 teachers provided various false information, slander and provocative information against the university authorities. Despite the administrative structure of the university to meet the demands of the students, they obstructed the constitutional process.

Meanwhile, two students of the university have continued their hunger strike demanding revocation of their deportation order. On the evening of January 19, they started a hunger strike in front of the administrative building. Saline is being given to these starving students who have fallen ill.

According to the university authorities, during the student movement, the two students blocked the way of the two teachers and abused them. That is why Imamul Islam, a fourth year student of history and civilization discipline, was expelled from the university for two years and Mubarak Hossain Noman, a third year student of Bengali discipline, was expelled from the university for one year.

According to the decision of the syndicate, Assistant Professor of Bangla. Abul Fazl has been sacked. Shakila Alam, a lecturer in the same department and Haimanti Shukla Kaberi, a lecturer in the history and civilization department, have been removed.

According to the Government Employees (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, if any government official or employee is dismissed or dismissed, that employee will be deemed ineligible for future employment in any other government service or in any organization established under the law. However, if removed from the job, the employee will not be ineligible for re-employment.
