¡Hola, amigos! Creo que esta es la primera vez en que publico un maquillaje por iniciativa propia, es decir, un maquillaje que no sea una participación para algún reto genial propuesto en esta comunidad. La verdad es que desde hace tiempo quería hacer algo _un poco distinto_...como una especie de maquillaje artístico. Realmente no quería realizar algo simple, quería algo bonito y llamativo…pero no sabía qué. Así que después de varios días pensando en si haría algo o no, finalmente hoy decidí poner mis brochas en acción (como diría mi amiga @keritroberts). Como no me había decido por un color en particular, la idea de hacer un maquillaje estilo arcoiris me pareció genial. Pero como a mí no me gustan las cosas tan coloridas, había que darle un equilibrio y agregar color negro por alguna parte…y realmente el resultado me terminó gustando más de la cuenta.

Since I hadn't decided on a particular color, the idea of doing a rainbow-style makeup seemed great to me. But since I don't like things so colorful, I had to give it a balance and add black somewhere...and I really liked the result more than I thought.

Con mi rostro limpio e hidratado preparé mi rostro con corrector, base y polvo compacto. Comencé realizando la forma del “líquido arcoíris” con un lápiz negro de maquillaje, luego la fui rellenando con los colores típicos de un arcoíris y difuminé muy bien en la transición de un color a otro para lograr un efecto degradado. Remarqué la silueta del líquido con delineador negro líquido.

With my face clean and moisturized I prepared my face with concealer, base and compact powder. I started by making the "rainbow liquid" shape with a black makeup pencil, then I filled it with the typical colors of a rainbow and blended very well in the transition from one color to another to achieve a degraded effect. I marked the silhouette of the liquid with liquid black eyeliner.

Dibujé también la forma del “líquido” debajo de mi labio inferior y mi ojo derecho, para este último empleé tonalidades del rojo al amarillo. No me gustó como estaba resultando la forma que había dibujado a la derecha de mi labio inferior, así que la terminé borrando. Para la forma del lado izquierdo empleé tonalidades del azul al rosa. En mi ojo derecho traté de hacer un degradado de amarillo al verde por debajo de la línea de agua. Por último, realicé un _Eye Cat_, apliqué máscara de pestañas y le quise dar un toque un poco Dark al maquillaje agregando un tono oscuro a mis labios. ¡Y listo!

I also drew the shape of the "liquid" under my lower lip and my right eye, for the latter I used shades from red to yellow. I did not like the shape I had drawn on the right side of my lower lip, so I ended up erasing it. For the shape on the left side I used shades from blue to pink. In my right eye I tried to make a gradient from yellow to green below the water line. Finally, I made a _Eye Cat_, applied mascara and wanted to give a little dark touch to the makeup by adding a dark shade to my lips. And that's it!

Este maquillaje me terminó gustando muchísimo…tanto así que no quería quitármelo. Creo que me gustó tanto porque a pesar de ser colorido no deja completamente de lado ese estilo Dark que tanto me gusta.

I ended up liking this makeup a lot...so much so that I didn't want to take it off. I think I liked it so much because in spite of being colorful it doesn't leave completely aside that Dark style that I like so much.
