Kevin Anderson took a long break at the end of 2019 because of injury and that saw him slide down the rankings, out of the top 100.
He is still a quality player and since his return, hasn't done too badly out there on the courts.
He is starting as a favorite against Taiwanese, Jung, whose style of play should suit Anderson's.
It looks to be an interesting match and if Anderson is able to get warmed up and past this first round trap quickly, I think he stands a good chance of winning the entire tournament.
That said, injuries are always a problem with Anderson and there's always a risk he might withdraw.
