Conservation
The spread of this orchid is quite extensive throughout Java, from lowlands to high altitudes, ie at an altitude of 0-1200 m above sea level. In addition to Java, these orchids have also been found scattered outside of the Himalayas through Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia and the island of Sumatra. In addition, these orchids are also found in teak forests in humid areas.
His fate is the same as the slipper orchid, the beauty of the flower that causes this orchid life is very threatened in nature or its natural habitat. Based on its scarcity status Ascocentrum Miniatum is one of the rare orchid species included in the CITES Appendix II list. Preservation of orchids is absolutely necessary to maintain its presence in the archipelago

This orchid is categorized as a protected plant based on Government Regulation No. 7 of 1999. So this Orchidaceae-impregnated plant is not allowed to be traded except for the third generation. The third generation is a breeding plant that has received permission from the authorities, usually BKSD.
