Only I would carry you to the top of my ladder simply to share the view.

Can you believe it has been 3 months since the last Ladders report? To tell you the truth, I would have happily given up the contract income to avoid having to install internet in the dead of winter. Mercifully, I have only had a handful of outdoor gigs over the coldest months and have been back in action as temperatures have risen to July like 28 Celsius. The pictures I take of my unique little town, across the globe from most of my followers and friends, is one of my attempts of providing a unique perspective and story on the blockchain.
Here are a few from the last couple months!
Some days, you crush through the day without looking up so you can get it done. Others, you pause and drink in the moment. In all the years I have done this work, never can I remember wearing a t-shirt outside in the beginning of April. The temps were pleasant and the views were nice this month.
The trees are just starting to get fuzzy and the grass is defiantly green for having the snow so recently vanish. In the heart of simmer, you might only see one house in this picture across the river when the trees grow in. A distinct lack of people our counting their @actifit steps despite the nice weather but it is in the mid afternoon when you are most likely to be staying at home or in the office working. I did see a few dog walkers and stroller pushers well before 5:00 and spent some time hoping people were using this strange down time to get our and range and breathe.
Sometimes, the ladder doesn't even have to come out of the truck. Here, we see some walkers as the newly installed antenna points down the road to fetch a wireless signal from the access point and provide access to the world wide web. Big old trees in an old neighbourhood only a block from the biggest theater in a town that hosts the world-renowned Stratford Festival https://www.stratfordfestival.ca/ This year, they are FINALLY flexing to provide out-door shows in an effort to stay in business and explore a new medium. Bravo!
That's not what we are here for though. I am here to install internet and chew bubblegum. I forgot AGAIN to snap a pic of my furry k-9 assistant who helped me every step of this job. I will get good at this blogging/photography thing eventually.
Sometime, I see the backs of the proud main street buildings as they stand shoulder-to-shoulder over the restaurants, boutiques and shops.
Other times, I spy some young male feathered friend looking to grab food and nest material so he can find a friend to cuddle up with.
But, on that rare occasion, you catch a glimpse of the Eye of Sauron glaring at us all to innocuously from the horizon.
Here's hoping you enjoy some of my rare perspective during this series which has lived many years and inspires you to share some of your unique views from every corner of this round earth.
