The Yang Gang has been evolving rapidly since its inception from Reddit and the Big Bang triggered by the Joe Rogan Experience, much like Yang's political career (or more accurately, pursuits). People come and go as Yang started and failed every run for office, while Yang Gang evolves in many directions as a decentralized entity.

As Yang started the Forward Party, he now has two platforms. While I think that there'll be a lot of overlapping between Yang Gang and the Forward Party in terms of visions and members, these two platforms will serve very different purposes and should function differently.

Yang Gang is at a bottleneck now as Yang's bid for NYC mayorship failed unexpectedly. While Yang's Forward Party seems more of a strategic publicity move in the short term (I personally think that Forward Party is a more serious endeavour than Green Party in the long run), it is imperative that we keep the Yang Gang movement going.

Cryptocurrency adoption has been a major agenda of Yang.
The Andrew Yang coin (https://medium.com/yang-dividend-the-andrew-yang-coin/yang-dividend-the-andrew-yang-coin-official-launch-a9b0142f4478) launched to support his presidential campaign is largely defunct now. Nevertheless, it showcases how tokenization of a community (or rather, a movement) can consolidate it and keep it going.

Decentralized attention economy is the future. A few Subreddits have already been tokenized and many more will do so. Andrew Yang has 1.8M followers on Twitter currently, and hell, he was more popular than Kamala Harris in the 2020 Democrat primary. These are things that we can definitely capitalize on.

We can probably start working on tokenizing this subreddit, which will (re)activate the existing members and draw more people in. Who knows what might come out of a tokenized Yang Gang and Forward Party, maybe we'll actually turn UBI into a reality with DeFi, or simply one more sh1tcoin to be added to the never-ending list.
