I love Norway in autumn

This is a very popular spot to do wedding photography. The trees almost wrapping around each other. Kind of symbolic when you think about it.
A few days ago I went hiking with my boyfriend's grandfather. We decided to go for a hike in the forest because of the pretty autumn colors. And of course I brought my camera with me, and my new lens. We didn't have to go far before the forest lit up with beautiful colors.

We have more rainy days than sunny days in the west-coast of Norway, especially in autumn. The weather is so gray and wet, so it gets harder and harder to go outside and photograph. Most places you could just use an umbrella right? But not here.. because it rains sideways. The minute the rain stops, I run outside and try to get a few good shots. I got really annoyed when it wouldn't stop raining the day I received my new lens.

I was a little bit sad to see that most of the leaves had fallen to the ground, but I think I managed to get a few good shots anyway.

We walked and talked, and had a great time. I love moments like that. Just enjoying the fresh air and making memories. The trail we walked on goes along the sea, and some places we got to look at this amazing view.

We stopped at one of the beaches, took a few photos, and walked back. I had finished a night-shift that day, so waking up in the middle of the day and getting outside was really refreshing.
