Other Niche Communities Curation Report #525

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 525th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Blog #203: A New Favorite Place To Dine and Hangout

The day after we'd visited Sheintan Ridge View, my friend texted me that recently she discovered a new place that is suitable for the people like us who love to relax with nature. I immediately replied her that I am free and we could visit that certain place. She advised me to get ready and will fetch me at my dormitory.

Thai Mobile Market...

Many years ago, I remember a mobile grocery coming down the street where I lived as a kid, a van full of all sorts of tins and dried foodstuff along with the more unusual bits of hardware. I distinctly remember my Mum once going out and buying a two and a half-inch plug (please note that no word was left out from in front of the word 'plug')! That was about all she bought as she always complained about the freshness of their food and the high prices.

Lotus Bean Soup For Rainy Days, Perfect For Vegetarians

It's been raining since the second day of the week making the temperature decline. Many would certainly want to curl under bedsheets while binge-watching or listening to favorite songs. Along with this kind of weather is a craving for something hot and yummy.

"Escritura Creativa - Inspiración para el Crecimiento Personal" / "Creative Writing - Inspiration for Personal Growth " [ESP-ENG] | Reto / Challenge

Greetings dear friends of HolosLotus Community. It is with great pleasure that I join this Creative Writing challenge with the central theme of "rain" ... rain is water. Water for me is vital energy. Rain is blessed water that falls from the sky to give life, to activate biogeochemical cycles that determine vital cycles such as the production of oxygen and food that define life on Mother Earth, our #pachamama.

Friday Special - Watermelon Juice Recipe

I have to be a little busy because in our country there are six more fasts at the end of the month of Ramadan, I observe it myself. So I am busy with some housework. But I check your posts and try to share my comments. Because I try to read all the posts that I like.

Worldbuilding Prompt #272 - The Dealer

He really did look like the archetype of a ne'er-do-well, with a tatty royal blue waistcoat over a shirt which might once have been white but which was so grubby that the stains had merged to make it a kind of earthy brown colour. It was unclear if he cultivated the appearance deliberately, or was such a down-and-out that this is what he was.

D&D Dice Making / Purple Space

Actually, my morale has been really low since yesterday. Yesterday my business announced that it was going to shrink and I was unemployed. I am really surprised and very sorry but there is nothing I can do. Life goes on. Before I get completely immersed in my portfolio work, I wanted to share here the happiest thing I've done recently. Because I've been fired, I'm going to postpone my pressure pot purchase plan until I find a job. It looks like my bubble problem will continue for a while. Actually, it's not like I got fired. I curse war... One of the consequences of war. No war is good. :(

[ESP/ENG] Time to cook! ~ Arroz con pollo - Receta sencilla y rápida - Quick recipe ~ by @alejandrop

One of my qualities that I managed to highlight in my presentation to the #HIVE community a few years ago was my taste for cooking in general, since it is one of the things that I enjoy doing the most in my day to day life, although sometimes my Laziness wins me over and I don't want to prepare a dish, be it simple or special, but this occasion was more than special because my daughter, who is 3 years old, Isabella, asked me to please prepare her rice with chicken that she likes so much, of course prepared by me, so taking advantage of the fact that I had not prepared it for a long time, I decided to take photos and show how this little procedure was.

(ENG/GER) Making a leather bag for lens filters - DIY on HIVE

I use the NISI filter holder on my 12mm Laowa lens. It allows me to attach a round polarising filter and up to two rectangular 100mm filters in front of the lens. The 100mm filter was in a leatherette bag that was too big. The polarising filter in a cheap, unstable plastic box. Until recently, I always had the polarising filter in the holder. However, this is not a good solution for transport because the filter is completely unprotected.

Esp/Eng Delicioso bocadillo: arañitas de plátano (Musa × paradisiaca), con crema de maiz (Zea mays). Delicious snack: banana spiders with corn cream.

The plantain, green or ripe, is very versatile when it comes to preparing it, it can be used as a side dish, as a main dish, or as a snack, which is the case of this preparation, it has a high nutritional value, a delicious flavor which makes it perfect.
