Other Niche Communities Curation Report #221

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 221st compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

The Familiar Fear of Not Breathing

Asthma woke me up this morning. It slid into my dreams, an increasing pressure on my chest. Asthma creeps up on me, slowly cutting off my breathing over hours. I get tired before I realize I need my inhaler. Often, I feel headachey and lazy. My brain fogs. I just want to go back to sleep, and sometimes I do, only to wake up in a panic while gasping for air.

Wednesday Walk - Observing Some Buildings

Well, this week I start here with kind of a personal challenge of my own. I always enjoy taking photos and love capturing memories in this way.

But then my youngest daughter heard that I am now starting to share some photos here on Wednesdays.

Seeing that she is involved in photography, she challenged me to also learn more about photography and do it properly.

[ESP/ENG ] ¿Amor propio? / SELF-LOVE?

But I'm not here to talk about this community, nor to yell, because I really don't get along with fights and my favorite way to let off steam is to lie down underwater and dream (yes, lie down because my body has zero buoyancy so I can do it as long as I'm not too deep) of course I don't last long because I can't breathe underwater; in conclusion of the beginning of my post is my favorite form of relaxation, but that's not why it's the only one.

Signs of Lemons ahead

I can’t believe that we have been in our house a whole year! When we moved in last June our lemon tree was literally dropping lemons on the deck because it had far too many. The whole tree was yellow with beautiful lemons. We actually got quite fright at night as we heard a thud and thought we had an intruder which turned out to be the lemons dropping to the wooden deck below at random times throughout the night. Ha!

My first post here : How to collect tomato seeds 🍅

Hi there! I'm so exited to be part of this group! Here is my first post for you nature lovers . Today I'll show you how to collect your own tomato seeds. This way you can become independent from the seed market and to have the seeds from the plant that already adapt to your ecosystem .You will have even better yield next year. Be gentle, nice and grateful when you interact with your seeds. They keep your positive energy in them. SO they are not only seeds , they are YOUR SEEDS :) Your future food. The food of your children and hopefully your grandchildren... Here is what to do for your first DIY seed saving:

Efectos del exceso de trabajo y la vacuna del Covid -19 | Escuchar nuestro cuerpo [EN][ES]

Everything in excess is bad, or at least that's what you hear until you see for yourself. More than 1 month ago, I had my second dose of the Covid19 vaccine and since then, I have had some symptoms of pain in my hands and legs. However, as time has gone by, the most persistent pains have been in my hands, as a result of overwork (between using the pc and the phone).

Narrative Awareness + Daily Runes

When I was a kid, my language was free from profanity but I was rude in other more harmful ways. I spoke a lot from anger and arrogance, I was very reactive. Going back to those times, I'm thankful because I didn't experience that much aggression from the environment even though I called for it a lot. I guess in part this was due to the fact that I was also very hurtful within, so I already lashed myself without the need for external tyrants. As I grew up, I slowly began using more curses and vulgarities but, at the same time, I grew less aggressive both outside and within. I started feeling better. In retrospect, I can see that the vulgarities were kind of a purge from the mess I carried inside.

My Wednesday Walk near Lake Rääkjärv in Estonia

This time my Wednesday walk took place in my favourite place - the Kurtna Nature Reserve in the north-east of Estonia. Kurtna is a real lake kingdom. Just imagine that there are 40 lakes here on a relatively small area of 3 by 9 kilometers! It is the most lake-rich area in Estonia. Some types of the lakes are recognized as rare ones with interesting natural habitats and rare species, so in 1987 the Kurtna Landscape Reserve was created to protect them. The reserve itself is a part of the Alutaguse National Park.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ [ESP-ENG] MEME CHALLENGE #242- ENTRY #1😃 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I was a child my dad would wake up early and further back I would get up, when I heard him I would approach him, sometimes he would be watching TV in the mornings, he would pour me a glass of milk, grab a can of soda crackers and give me a couple to dunk them, then he would put on news for us to watch together 😃 you will understand that at an age of 4 or 5 the news was not the best possible distraction, however I would settle in and fall asleep understanding everything 🤣.
