HIVE and HBD Markets

NFT Hive HBD markets live on DLUX

You can now sell or auction NFTs you own for HIVE or HBD.

We've launched three very different NFT projects on DLUX so far and each brings something a little new to Hive. First our Founders Set brought the concept of generative NFTs on HIVE to life, with 4096 unique combinations of our DLUX logo, each with a 100 DLUX "melt value" bonded to them. A royalty was generated and tested along with Auctions, Sells, and Secured Transfers.

Then with a lot of help we launched the Beez Set. This one featuring an absolutely massive possibility of combinations. There are absolutely no fees for it's users, and distribution is strictly via free airdrop. It's main goal is to be a gift to the most active members of the Hive community and so far as been given to Hive accounts that registered for HiveFest and those interested enough in NFTs to purchase(or attempt to purchase) @punksonhive.

Most recently we added some features that make selling mint tokens ( that can be redeemed for a unique NFT ) possible for HIVE and HBD. Releasing the Hive Folks. Along side this a dividend contract that can be thought of as passive staking rewards. Only 1 one more sell and there is a 1000 Hive Give away... Don't miss out on the fun!

Alas, DLUX doesn't quite have what makes secondary markets attractive as DLUX's value is lacking liquidity. We have a decentralized wallet that operates our DEX; and while this is a revolutionary feature for a smart-contract-less ecosystem... It's still very young.

New Features

Today we're releasing a few features that should make our NFTs more desirable to collect.

  • Hive and HBD denominated Auctions
  • Hive and HBD denominated Sells
  • Hive and HBD secure Transfers
  • Selling your Royalties is possible

Auction NFT interface at dlux.io (Inventory Management)

You can now select DLUX (0% fee) or HIVE/HBD (1% fee) for the starting bid. Due to these contracts keeping Hive or HBD in our decentralize wallet, these auctions can only last up to 7 days, while DLUX auctions can last 30 days.

Bidding Interface at dlux.io/nfts

The bids will return underbids, as well as the bid of the current highest bidder. Upon completion, the trading fee will buy DLUX off the DEX at market rate and place the DLUX in the appropriate accounts... Thus providing a little liquidity for the DEX, and keeping royalties/fees in the much easier to manage token ecosystem. Transfers after all are cheap... but not free.

The same goes for Sells:

Buy Menu & Op

And Secured Transfers:

Now something to remember is that on Hive you delegate your risk to witnesses to produce blocks and keep things honest. Hive doesn't have smart contracts which keeps the network lean and economical, with RC based transaction fees. Smart Contracts like these features require a 3rd party to hold your Hive... which is a security risk. I've programmed a DEX which distributes the risk to multiple parties who must collude to make an attack. That said, there is still a need to incentivize those accounts to prevent that outcome. Working within the collateral Proof of Stake model, a 1% fee will be taken from Hive denominated transactions, also a 1 Hive offer fee will be taken from "Make and Offer" to reduce spam and lower the amount of Hive sitting in our collective wallet. This fee will be utilized to buy DLUX off the DEX at market prices, lowering the number of costly transactions, providing liquidity, and raising the value of the collateral held by our decentralized wallet. There is also a safe limit of Hive our decentralized wallet can hold... which is shared by any liquidity on the DEX: So these features may be limited based on the market conditions.

What's Next?

  • Make an Offer
    • Is your dream NFT not on the market? Make an offer and see if the current owner will accept.

Thank You!

We've been much better able to focus on development with your support. From Liking our posts to voting for my witness... Even little bit helps us bring new features to Hive. Standby for a new Proposal to build HoneyComb and supporting libraries.
