Rami Adel Rahman, head of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said that at least 32 IS members were killed in the clash between IS militants with Syrian government forces on Saturday.
The loyal soldiers of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces started an operation to reopen Eidolib in December. The latest clashes occurred after the Syrian army announced the elimination of IS from Eidolib province on Friday.
