asserted that Indonesia's position on the Palestinian

Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi asserted that Indonesia's position on the Palestinian struggle will not change even though Israel bans Indonesian Citizen (WNI) from entering his country.

"Indonesia will continue with the Palestinians in their struggle for independence and their rights," said Foreign Minister Retno at the Foreign Ministry Building, Jakarta, Friday (1/6/2018).

"So, Indonesia's foreign policy stance on Palestine is very clear, yes," he continued.

Minister of Justice and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly added that Indonesia does not see the ban on Indonesian citizens into the territory of Israel as something extraordinary. For Indonesia, each country has the right and authority to accept or reject a foreign citizen visa.

However, Indonesia still regrets why Israel refused visa citizens who want to enter the region.

"It is the right of every country to accept or reject visas from any citizen country so sorry to regret it is the policy of the Israeli government," continued Yasonna.

Reportedly earlier, the Israeli government banned Indonesian tourists from entering Israel as of June 9, 2018. The policy was mentioned as a reply to the banning of Israeli tourists from entering Indonesia.
