A trawler in the Bay of Bengal area was sinking in the Teknaf-Saint-Martin Sea on the south side of Naichangandia. Local people rescued four people of the trawler. Today, the accident happened at 5pm on Monday.

Habib Ullah Khan said that the larki (Chauffar fuel) was loaded from Keruntali canal of Teknaf sadar union at the afternoon, in the trawler. The owner of the vessel, Hafiz Ullah, a resident of Pallanparha of Teknaf Sadar Union. The trawler was coming to Saint Martin with fox. When the trawler reached Barark area, the waves were reversed. Local people from the St. Martin's jetty see the incident. Later they rescued four other people with another trawler.
Teknaf Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) said. Zahid Hossain Siddiqui said, "I heard the story of traverdoubi. Action will be taken against the trailmoral by investigating whether the accident happened due to excessive goods transport.
