Facebook used to spread riot in Myanmar: Zuckerberg

Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg acknowledged that Facebook used to provoke ethnic riots in Myanmar's Rakhine state.

About seven lakh Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh after the riots that took place in Bangladesh.

Hundreds of people have lost their life. Facebook also played a key role in taking humanitarian disasters (ethnic cleansing in the United States) to a worse level.
In an interview with Vox on Monday, Zuckerberg said anti-Rohingya anti-Muslim propaganda was spread through Facebook. The company is working seriously on the issue.

The people of both parties in Myanmar who were spreading the message of 'sensational message' were blocked in the Facebook message, said Zakirbarg.
