Route 50 - A Fatal Crash Happened Again Near Annapolis

Maryland State Police are investigating other wrong-turn, deadly twist of fate on route 50. This time, two were dead. This deadly incident happened at 5.45am, 7/26/2017 all westbound lanes of path 50 are closed at bay dale force. Additionally one eastward lane is closed completely.

Just after 2:00 a.m. today, troopers from the Annapolis Barrack were dispatched to Rt. 50 on Severn River Bridge after a call was gotten announcing a vehicle voyaging eastward in the westward paths of Rt. 50. Minutes after the fact, a trooper in the region came upon a crash scene at westward Rt. 50 and Bay Dale Drive. Three vehicles were joined in the crash.

All lanes of westward Rt. 50 were shut. Fire and protect units reacted. Two individuals were articulated dead at the scene. They are accepted to be the drivers of two of the vehicles included. There had been no other passenger in their vehicles. The driver and passenger of third car were both collided with this accident and transported to the Anne Arundel County Medical Center for treatment.

Because of the clear and distinctive examination required and the broad crash scene, all paths of Rt. 50 at Bay Dale are shut and are relied upon to stay shut for the following a few hours. MD Department of Transportation State Highway Administration Staff is on the scene and is rerouting westward activity at Cape St. Clair Road.

The reason for the crash has not been affirmed as of now. Troopers from the MD State Police Crash Team are on the scene directing a point by point recreation and examination. Additionally points of interest will be given later today after the underlying examination has been finished and families have been told.
