"He's A Political Prisoner Whose Life Is In Clear And Pressing Danger": Tommy Robinson Offered Asylum By German MP

A German member of Parliament (MP) has offered British activist Tommy Robinson political asylum following his arrest on Friday for suspicion of breaching the peace while livestreaming outside the trial of a child grooming gang.
“Tommy Robinson is a political prisoner, whose life is in clear and pressing danger. We have to do everything we can to make sure he is granted political asylum,” said the office of conservative German MP Petr Bystron in a Saturday statement provided to the Gateway Pundit's Cassandra Fairbanks.
“As we know, German asylum laws are applied very liberally. Since 2012, 1.8 million mostly economic migrants have come to Germany under these asylum laws, even though they were not actually persecuted politically,” said Bystron, who himself came to Germany as a political refugee from Communism when he was 16.
The statement continued on to say that Robinson is an actual victim of political persecution and that he is appealing to the German Federal Government, the German Foreign Office, the European Union and all human rights organizations — including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch — to step in and fight for his freedom and grant him asylum in Germany. -TGP

I created this post with the intention of reaching as many of you as possible, to spread awareness on the injustice regarding censorship of free speech, that keeps happening more and more right under our very eyes everyday.
I feel I have to contribute in some way and "be the change you want to see in the world".
Free speech is under attack and it has been for a while now and it seems things are just getting worse as time goes by. Governments and police are not focused on protecting us, but on repressing and silencing us when we expose unconvenient truths about them, consequently becoming more and more similar to tyrants and totalitarian regimes. It seems almost impossibile that this is happening in 2018. Instead of going forward, it's like we have made a huge plung backwards. Our ancestors have fought and died to assure us of our rights and we must make sure their sacrifice was not in vain.
Free speech censorship regards us all, journalists and common people alike. We all need to stand up peacefully but firmly for our rights, calling out these acts of injustice because if we do not do so now, our freedom of speech and our rights will be taken away from us, like it is already happening in Europe and as we are seeing particularly in the UK, which is becoming more and more a police state, where innocent people are being jailed simply for speaking the truth and stating facts, while real criminals walk about free.
