((((((( Donald Trump is no stranger to controversy and his latest sentiments clumsily posted to Twitter will likely continue that trend that’s been so prevalent during his tenure as President of the United States. )))))))
Trump seems to think Twitter is the best way for a U.S President to vent his feelings about the world rather than the privacy of the Oval Office and has decided the best way to deal with radical Islamic Terrorism following the deadly attack in Barcelona, is to execute Muslims with bullets dipped in pigs blood.
The tweet, which you can see below, was posted in the aftermath of the Barcelona terror attack which has killed at least 12 people and left dozens more injured.

While there are a multitude of ethical problems when it comes to Trump’s idea of a preventative measure, the first stumbling block is of course that it would be considered a war crime.
Even if he managed to jump that hurdle somehow, the other major problem with his suggestion is that it’s actually fake news. Sad!
Trump appears to have something for this General Pershing because it’s not the first time he’s mentioned him. During a campaign rally in February 2016 in South Carolina, he told the story of Pershing executing Muslim prisoners in the Philippine-American war between 1909 and 1913.
Trump said:
They were having terrorism problems, just like we do. And he caught 50 terrorists who did tremendous damage and killed many people.
And he took the 50 terrorists, and he took 50 men and he dipped 50 bullets in pigs’ blood — you heard that, right? He took 50 bullets, and he dipped them in pigs’ blood.
And he had his men load his rifles, and he lined up the 50 people, and they shot 49 of those people.
And the 50th person, he said: You go back to your people, and you tell them what happened. And for 25 years, there wasn’t a problem. Okay? Twenty-five years, there wasn’t a problem.
He then told the crowd that they could read it in history books if they liked, but not many history books because ‘they don’t like to teach it’.
The reason they don’t like to teach it, however, is that it didn’t happen.
Historian after historian has proved there was no massacre and all those prisoners were released. Some historians even go as far to say this General Pershing was actually very peaceful towards Muslims and even sat with them, read with them and attempted to build bridges.
Only days ago Trump, in the wake of the Charlottesville violence, said:
Unlike the media, before I make a statement I like to know the facts.
Trump hates fake news. He’s made no secret of that. So it comes as a shock to the world that he wouldn’t fact-check this before tweeting it to millions of people.
