North Korea will hold a special event when dismantling a nuclear weapons testing area on May 23-25, 2018 as evidence of the country's seriousness to end the deadly weapons program.

The event of a nuclear weapons destruction or denuclearization of North Korea will be a dramatic and symbolic event ahead of a summit of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump on June 12 in Singapore.

North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho said all the tunnels in North Korea's northeastern region that had been a testing ground for nuns would be destroyed by blowing up.
Then, observation facilities, research and security units will be removed from that location.

To prove North Korea's sincerity of denuclearization, citing an AP report dated May 12, 2018, North Korea will invite journalists from the United States, South Korea, China, Russia and Britain to cover the denuclearization process.

Kim Jong Un has revealed his plans to close his nuclear weapons test site when he meets South Korean president Moon Jae-in at a summit in late April.

"The United States will soon find out after a dialogue with North Korea is done that I am not the type of person who uses nuclear weapons against South Korea or the United States through the pacific region," President Moon Secretary Yoon Young-chan said.
