If you have any doubt about the flag just take a look at the US wars in the Arab World and also the Muslim World in general: the USA fought against every country that doesn't recognize Israel under the guise of spreading freedoms and democracy, yet the USA did not only not bother with, it protected absolute dictators who oppress, and chop up their dissidents and the USA is totally deaf when it comes to human rights issues or democracies, let alone any sort of elections or power-sharing in those regimes, one stark example is the Saudi family.
The Arab countries with national armies that do not recognize Israel: Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and Algeria. In case you weren't around or you didn't know, the terrorist groups started in Algeria and continued for 10 years in that country until its army eliminated them, then those same terrorist groups moved south in the African continent. You can also add the unusual US enmity towards Iran for decades after other decades the US was pampering Iran's ousted absolute dictator the Shah.
The US fought wars on behalf of Israel that eventually destroyed the US economy.
