It seems that somehow, between their busy schedules, Robert Downey Jr. (who plays Iron Man in the next two Marvel's Avengers movies and the main character in the new Dr. Doolittle reboot) and Jude Law (who plays Dumbledore in the upcoming Fantastc Beasts sequel) managed to find time to do the third installment of Sherlock Holmes franchise. The fans have always wanted for it to happen and there were always rumors about it, but nobody actually believed it would... until RDJ himslef, hasn't confirmed the news a few days ago.

RDJ will play the world's smartest detective Sherlock Holmes for the third time, as well as will Jude Law his assistant and friend dr. John Watson. RDJ and producer Lionel Wigram even revealed some plot details for the next movie revealing it will be based on the original work of sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Jude Law made some suggestions about time travel (Yeah, I know... time travel!). The third part will also be directed by Guy Ritchie (who directed the first two movies), while the script is currently being written.

I'm very glad the third part is finnaly being made, because I always felt the second part was left a little undone considering that Watson never found out that Sherlock survived the fall. I loved the first two movies, especially RDJ's performance as Sherlock which was impecable for me. You can read more about the movie here.

I can't wait for it to come out and, if we are to believe the words of Jude Law, it will be the best part so far...
