En la formación del crecimiento del ser humano tenemos uno que otro momento donde nos detenemos a pensar en nuestra vida o lo que sucede alrededor de la misma, justo ahora es el momento del pequeño Bobby, donde se pregunta ¿Qué está mal? Bobby es un niño que tiene un momento duro justo ahora, siendo el integrante más pequeño de la familia de tres, intenta no estar en casa para evitar pensar lo que sucede todos los días en su pequeño hogar, no hay mucho que hacer en un pueblo y menos si tus padres son tan estrictos como para no dejarte salir a caminar, teniendo como único refugio la escuela y los libros. Podría considerarse una buena distracción para el niño, solo si la escuela tiene maestros dedicados a enseñar y los libros que leyese no tuviesen contenido que lo haga desviarse de su camino inocente. La filosofía podría escucharse como algo intelectual e importante para el ser humano, pero es de sentido común que no toda filosofía te convierte en un ser intelectual, llegando a desviar el enfoque de la filosofía al pequeño Bobby, haciéndolo considerar lo que sucede a su alrededor. “Maestros no dedicados a su profesión, simples mediocres que desperdician su conocimiento por dinero. Compañeros vacíos, colocando su atención a un balón, cuando un lápiz y una hoja pueden ser el inicio y final de una historia. Lugar aburrido, elegido así por sus habitantes para no molestarse por hacerlo interesante. Mientras tanto, seguía escuchando las peleas de sus padres, viendo como su madre lo apuntaba con un cuchillo, su padre en su lugar, lo miraba de reojo sin ganas de mirarlo a la cara, veía como lo culpaban por la falta de dinero, de tiempo, de amor. Esa noche, Bobby por primera vez llego a pensar en la bondad, un acto bueno que se hacía porque se debía hacer el bien, hacia brillar el alma del pequeño que no sabía lo que significaba lo bueno por siempre ver lo malo.
