RE: My look into Urbit

Some questions about the FAQ.

Previous attempts to "decentralize" the internet have only attempted to solve certain corners of the problem. Urbit proposes that only a new stack, built from the ground up as a tightly integrated system, can realize a great user experience for people using a peer-to-peer web.

So is this truly decentralized? No dolphins, no whales, no moderators, no administrators, no authority, just/only simply people?

The connected world anticipated by Urbit is a much friendlier one, much like the early Internet, where collegial discussion and collaboration was the norm.

Something similar like a BBS (Bulletin board system) in a modern, truly decentralized form? If yes, then that sounds very good, but to be honest, I still do not understand the concept of the Urbit.
