One of the newest projects in my co-working space is creating a writers circle here in my city, it is going to be a workshop that focuses on figuring out how to get into the flow as a writer quickly and efficiently so writing is less of a frustrating experience.

I realized quickly that writers are afraid to share, actually, most are downright terrified to expose themselves to a receptive audience.....but we are storytellers the more you talk about what you have written the more confident you become in your vision and project. Most jobs in 2021 have become automated and independent, writing has always been an individual

I usually compare accessing creativity to cracking a safe (think of Oceans 11 or a bank heist) the more you do it the faster you can get inside to the good stuff.

If there isn't a creative space in your city or a workshop, please begin to see it as your responsibility to create one. We need to be challenged regularly and lack the spaces to do it as we transition into adulthood. Periods of intense concentration and work followed by periods of warmth, support and constructive criticism can work wonders for the creator in you.

We can get overwhelmed by the size and complexity of our creative work, co-working and using systems can recenter us and keep us moving in the right direction. Step by step, piece by piece, bird by bird.
