Welcome to a new Bro newspaper. A new week and a new newspaper. The third already! I hope you enjoy the news we are trying to collect for you, and that you secretly look forward to Sunday, the day before the Bro Newspaper.
Good enough chatter for now. Let's start by seeing if there's anything interesting to mention about the tribes we're all invested in through Bro.
CINE
We start with news from @raymondspeaks for the CINE tribe. A front-end developer has been hired to work with their own graphics on the new front-end for the CINE tribe. The time frame in which the new front-end should be ready is unknown, but the sooner the better.
The plans for CINE do not lie. Its goals include attracting people from outside the blockchain such as the indie artists. CINE also wants to partner with @theycallmedan on 3speak to give the indie artists a stage.
In short, the goals have been set and we will keep an eye on it!
Splinterlands
The announcement has come. The date is known. The airdrop that everyone who has the slightest connection to Splinterlands has been waiting for is about to happen.
From TOMORROW, July 26, 2021, you can receive Splintershards every day for 1 year! Every day a snapshot is made to determine how many Splintershards you are entitled to that day! This is yet another type of airdrop, and this type of airdrop promotes holding onto your Splinterlands assets. I'm sure this will boost the value of all Splinterlands assets.
And we now see that this has some side effects, FOMO strikes again in the crypto world. This can be seen NOW at the price of DEC. The DEC is currently flying through the roof, so to speak. Whether this will continue or whether we see a temporary effect here remains to be seen.
STEM
We have an anniversary on our blockchain. On July, 18th STEM turned 2 years.
CONGRATULATIONS to @stemgeeks.
Important for everybody to know that this event has further reduced the STEM reward pool inflation from 12,500 STEM tokens/week to 11,190 STEM tokens/ week.
The @nostem4u service has been retired. And with that, another 1 million STEM tokens were burned.
This reduced reward pool inflation, and other burns will eventually make the STEM token more valuable. The STEM team is certainly working hard on it.
If you also write posts that are appropriate for the voice geeks community, be sure to post them through their front-end to receive 100% of your STEM rewards. Posts made through another front-end may earn you STEM rewards, but this will be capped at 50% of the actual STEM you would receive. For anyone who wants to keep up to date with everything that's going on in Neoxian City... Be sure to join the city chat at Element. Always someone to chat with. And many crypto news that are shared there. A lively chat where everyone is welcome.
One of the things that stood out this week in the Neoxian City newspaper, was the contest where one possibility is to win 200 HIVE. LBI Token
Last week all LBI token holders had the opportunity to give their vote on a YES or NO from the LBI government account. This was about whether LBI would start with paying dividends to the holders of the token, postponing it for another 3 months.
Many holders used their votes and as usual is the case, their is something to say for both the choices. If YES would win, it would mean that paying dividends would be postponed for another 3 months. But this time, holders don't want to wait another 3 months. The NO won and that means that LBI will start paying a weekly dividend in the form of LEO to LBI token holders, from August 1, 2021.
So much for the Tribe news for this week. But of course there are also other things to report.

BitClout
Because @neoxian discovered BitClout and created a profile there, @raymondspeaks' attention was drawn to BitClout. Ray got pretty excited about this and managed to get many BRO's on BitClout with his enthusiasm.
But what is BitClout?
Let's say it's kind of like Twitter, but monetized. And everyone who signs up gets their own token. Other people can buy your token, and if you do well there… then surely many people will invest in your token.
To start your profile you need a bit of Clout, or a verification with your phone. If you have opened a profile, and thus created your token, the Founders Rate is at 100%. Which means that even if someone buys your token at that moment, this buyer gets nothing ... because you receive everything. You already understand that no one will buy your token at that moment. You can lower your Founders Rate by purchasing your own token. But you need Clout for that! BitClout's token! However, don't be too shocked by this, because you can buy your own token for 1 cent, so to speak, and lower your Founders Rate.
However, if you want to get started with this seriously, I advise you to buy more of your own token ... because the moment your token becomes worth 1000 dollars, so to speak, it is pretty sour if you don't anymore then only own 0.01 of your own token.
So much for a little explanation about BitClout.
But now there is also a warning to be careful with this. @themarkymark quickly announced that shady things are going on at BitClout. He has no doubt that there is money to be made ... but we have to be cautious.
Of course it is then good to seek more information, and then the following was brought to my attention..

And I think this is a serious flaw. The warning to be careful with BitClout is certainly in order. As far as I'm concerned, BitClout is a platform that you can safely look at, but be careful with your money. As long as you follow the general crypto rule DO NOT INVEST MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD YOURSELF AND ARE WILLING TO LOSE, you should be able to see if it's for you. And if you're going to create your own BitClout ... don't forget to follow up and check on your BRO's.
If you don't want to or can't take that risk. Then wait a little longer for @leofinance's long-awaited "Project Blank" to be launched. Hopefully that will be "SOON".

This contest was announced in the previous newspaper.
But in case you missed it, here's what this contest is all about.
What makes you feel like a (wo)man?
To enter this contest we ask you to write a blog, or make a video, in which you tell us what is most special in your life, what really gives you THE feeling that you are a MAN / WOMAN. (Yes, women are also cordially invited to participate in this contest). So that can be anything. And all is well, as long as it can be clearly seen by means of attached pictures (if you write a blog), or can be seen clearly in the video in the case of a video.
If you write a blog we ask for a minimum of 1000 words, and that shouldn't be that difficult, because of course you are completely enthusiastic about the topic. A video is at least 5 minutes, and good image quality.
It is your choice whether you want to participate. And if you want to participate, check the previous newspaper to see exactly what is asked of you.
