Exhibition of water pictures - my visit

Hi everybody!

I like to read posts of Steemians about nature and rivers because I`m intrested fot this. So I decide to write about the same, too. In this post I want to show you the river named Drava which flows throught my village. At the pictures below you can see where the river is on the map.

You will have a chance to read about the beauty of Drava in my next posts, and today I will write about an event there which I was part of.

When at the end of 2014. a new „White bridge“ is built on the river Drava (in a village Donja Dubrava, the north part of Croatia, on the hungarian border, 120 km far from the capital city Zagreb), the bridge became popular for many funs of nature. It became to be a place for meetings, recreation and a lot of events. It also attracted some couples who wanted to take a photo of their wedding there. They even lock their love on that bridge (it is shown at the picture)

Recently on the bridge a little different event happend, an event we don`t see often. So, it is about an artist and photographer who desided to make an exibition of his own pictures, but suprisely...they are not at a wall, but... they lie on the water!
His 15 photos were landscapes of river Drava and river Mura. The aim of this event was to take notice on importance of protection of rivers and nature.

The biggest impression was achieved at the evening because every picture was unter blue-green light and you could listen to music so this expirience was incredible! Romantic atmosphere was there so a lot of couples found a place there.
