#320 - The view on top of Mount Arayat.

When we had a chance of going out we did went out of town and took a trip outside Metro Manila. We rented a van that took us at the trekking grounds of Mount Arayat. We arrived there at four in the morning and had to register first before we were accompanied by two teen guides. They were the kids of the locals who are actually the guides but they asked their sons to the guiding that day.

The kids have excellent stamina and they look like just walking in the park while us are having to rest every now and then.😂 Perks of growing old and not having enough time to exercise.

Upon reaching one of the viewpoint, we had to stop and look around and see the surroundings. The weather does not look good at all. The clouds are black and mostly likely to drop water bombs in no time.😁 We have a good view of the Pampanga river from up here.

My wife sat on the stones found in the viewpoint with the valley below us.

The small town of Candaba and the rice fields by the locals. There is always high water in some part of the valley because of the swamps. The swamps are also home to different species of migratory birds.

Here are some more of the photos with the great view below and above us.
