With a smiling face preparing for the Cross over to the New year (2018), I had hopes that the year I was going to step into will be a life changing one. Who was I again? I was just a Corp member serving my country far away from home, I attended the Cross over service at Winners Chapel, Suleja, Niger state.

At dawn which was 1st of January, 2018. I had my New Year Resolutions and one of them to be able to touch lives around me and also make my family proud. I had a thought and I shared it on my whatsapp status and still have it till this day

What could this Revolution be? Guess I don't know by then and all I had was to start an online campaign group for Atiku, I knew he was going to defect from the beginning. That was a good plan right. Then came drought in the land and was broke as hell cos the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) was never enough to carry all through the month, so I had to pick up a home lesson job to add to it, the pay was small though (4,000)naira. It is all about survival so I choose the legal way to earn a living.

Around February, I sat down to remise on my life after Service, where do i go from here and I bet you, you can never be that confused when you are serving your nation and you don't have any means of support. This was my situation, feeling depressed. During one of my usual home lesson classes, I got a call from a friend who we use to blog together years back, he said there is something he wants to introduce to me and I will love. He explained it a little and asked me to travel to Abuja so I can get the whole gist, before I could finish explaining that I had no cash on me, he asked me to send my account number and he sent me transportation fare. I wasted no time the next day as I left for Abuja.

I look funny right? hahahaha, situation of this country can change your looks. That was I and @jacobite. Yeap, that was who God sent to save me from the shackles of suffering and smiling.
Fast word, then I attended the first Steem meet up, held in Abuja. Where I first met the people who are now my friends todays.

I even gave a detailed explanation of how everything went. Check out what I wrote about the event Abuja Steem meetup
I came for the money and found knowledge and friends, I took steem seriously cos I needed to change me.

In April, I came around to spend some time with @jacobite and hardly sleep at night and I needed a new phone so badly. And in 10 days, I made 93,000 naira from steem and a new phone landed

That is @chiama1 with us there, first met her from Abuja steem event and we have been pals since then.

They say some things becomes boring when you get used to it, hence there is need for innovation. The rave of the town was these two communities, Wafrica and Steemjet. I heard @lordjames was the leader on both communities was in Abuja, so I and @jacobite took off to see him and the knowledge I got from there, changed my life.

I wanted to get on steemjet and wafrica, I failed at Wafrica but succeeded on steemjet cos I interviewed @lordjames and dimimp saw a reason to employ me.

That was where God's blessings on my life was seen by all, there is where I got motivated to work on my inner talent which is Rapping and discovered other things.
I got 1,000 steem for another interview I did with @uche-nna.

After my NYSC POP in Niger state

Seeing these places again, I am grateful to God for taking me away from this environment.

Back to Abuja, I was oppportune to meet @surfyogi in person and had a vast conversation about the blockchain.

And down to Steemit in Nigeria which held in Abuja, I got to learn about crypto trading and met another set of crazy people. @itk4luv aka Itoro at the event. I made more friends

3. Got a new phone

4. Helped myself and others

So many things, I can't remember.

I failed in many things I tried but the success story overwrites that.

I just want to give all the Glory to God for without him, I wouldn't accomplish this, for connecting me with the right people and for the Gift of Life.

This is a contest organised by @stevenmosoes and you can check the contest link here
