Musical Mood Of The Day: Phoenix Transsylvania With The One And Only Moni Bordeianu On Lead Vocals

Good evening, fellow rockers from all corners of the world (Romanian ones in special), HIVE users, and dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's musical mood of the day, I decided to share a very sensitive, melancholic, sad, yet true early song of the band during the time Moni Bordeianu was on lead vocals, more specifically throughout the late 1960s.

The following music video was aired on TVR (i.e. Televiziunea Română/Romanian Television) as well. The song's title is 'Canary' and tells the story of a hopeless canary bird trapped in cage which tragically falls to his own death while trying to set himself free.

The analogy with some destinies of human lives can still be drawn stemming from the lyrics of the song, especially during Communist times in Romania when a lot of people fled for their lives along the Serbian border in the Banat for Western Europe via Serbia, some of them being fortunate enough to really escape the Iron Curtain and Ceaușescu's draconic rulership for good and once and for all!

That being said, without further needless ado on my behalf, I wholeheartedly recommend watching the following music video of the Romanian classic rock song 'Canarul' (i.e. 'Canary' in English) by legendary Romanian rock band hailing from Timișoara, Banat called Phoenix Trannsylvania with Moni Bordeianu on lead vocals.

P.S.: Thank you very much for all your support, readership, appreciation, re-blogging, and feedback here on HIVE. Keep on rockin' in the free world as well! \m/

Stay blessed, loved, well, and safe along with your close ones! Cheers and please stay tuned for more amazing content on my HIVE blog! :)
