||| Kettenkarussell ||| Giegling Collective at its Best |||

In earlier posts I already talked more often about Giegling - not just a label, but a collective of artists and DJs frequently performing together.

A couple of years ago when hearing the Giegling collective for the first time - at Fusion festival in Germany - I also was introduced to the sounds of Kettenkarussell. And it was very much to my liking! As so many of the Giegling clan! They simply bring outstanding quality house, tech house and techno to the dance floor.

An artist collective based on being a collective. Most of the artists do not have their own websites, but are promoted under the collective website as well as brand even though most of them do have solo careers. I can't conclude that this is their secret, but for some reason it works really well for them. Giegling is almost becoming a hype! They are fully booked, and play all around the world. But still, what I really appreciate is the fact these guys seem to play only at the locations that matters in terms of quality - as far as I can see, all the promoters they get bookings with want to bring quality to the dance floor. Giegling does not seem too much commercial thinking - maybe not at all - and that is maybe their secret!

Some earlier posts about Giegling artists:

Konstantin is the founding father of Giegling - more or less. With Rafael Vogel (solo artist name Leafar Legov) they form the duo Kettenkarussell. It is this duo I present to you today through an amazing set. It is the recording of their performance at Fusion festival, the one I heard two years ago. Just recently I discovered this jewell, and am very pleased about that.
