'Izos Iris' - New Original Music - Trying Something New w/ the Drums from Yesterday - Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough

As I mentioned yesterday, I didn't

Chopped up audio, Track 6
really love anything besides the drums, so I took those and started adding a few new things on top. In the drums, there is a really loud, low tom sort of sound, which I had EQ'd out, but I must have accidentally removed that EQ or muted it before exporting this, so apologies for that. It'll definitely be gone in an future versions, and, where needed replaced by a kick, though definitely less often. Tracks 1-4 are again all the drums, with the only real change in 2 and 4, between Tracks 45 and 49, where they cut out a bit early, and some other sort of transition sound will happen. I put something in for filler now, just to remind me to add something there, so keep that in mind. I also think this needs to be an A section of song, and perhaps shorten the first time around, and move into something bigger, and more 'chorusy'. So, there will probably be a lot of alterations happening as I work on this more.

Tracks 7 and 8, Possible Melody Line

Listen to Izos Iris here...

The first synth is Track 5, which is the same bass clips

Track 6, heavy gate over the chopped section
from yesterday. However, I chopped them up, so they just move back and forth from D to C, with new harmonies built on top of that. I like the sound of these, but I think they need some more variation, so I'll probably make a new bass in Serum for this part. Track 6 is a new arp. synth, which plays through the new progression: Dmin, C, Dmin, C, Bb, Amin, Dsus4, C, then repeat. My favorite part of this new version is where this track gets chopped up, and heavily gated in the middle. I'm going to really work on making that a focal point, and probably have the drums follow along with that rhythm. Tracks 7 and 8 add a melody part, which I like in form, but not in timbre, so I'll try and find some new sounds and see if this still works. The last two tracks are just for transitions, and won't be in any final version, as they're just hold a spot.
