Muhammad birthday celebration

Mawlid, or Eid Milad-un-Nab is celebrated every year to celebrate the birth anniversary of Muhammad(Saw). People around the world celebrate this day, including non-muslims like me. Public holiday is usually declared in most part of the world to celebrate this day.
Muslisms around the world believe that this day holds a special and significant position in there calendar. It is usually observed to celebrate the life of the prophet (His teachings, behaviour and believe).
His teaching continues to influence his followers to follow the way of righteousness.
Muslisms celebrate this day in grandstyle. They go to mosque to pray, they wear new clothes, cook special dishes and give gift to their friends and families.
Following the declaring of this public holiday in Nigeria, my friends and I decided to hang out and celebrate the Prophet Muhammad birthday in our own little way.
