When a seed is planted, you will not expect it to bring forth another different kind of fruit. Similarly, when an action goes forth, then there will be results that will come from it. There is no action that anyone does that is without costs and consequences. You can only choose the way you can act, and that is the only thing you will have the freewill to choose. However, when the result comes, you cannot but accept it without a choice. It is indisputably true that:
Actions will always beget results.
Before you put up an action, wisdom demands that you need to weigh the potential consequences. If after you have weighed the consequences and you will be able to bear it, then you can attempt to go for the action. In a case where you will not welcome the potential result, then do not go for the action that will lead you to the result. The major undoing of many is that they always allow their actions to move faster than their thoughts. That is, they act on the spot without thinking about it.
If many people will be able to think before they will act, you will realize how trouble-free their lives will be. Many problems that people face would have been avoided by just allowing their thoughts to moves faster than actions. Humans have been gifted with freewill, consciousness and conscience. So much so that when you do what is not right, you will obviously know. When you do what is right, that same knowledge will be in you too. You should use this free gift of consciousness to channel your actions aright.
If you are mature enough to take your own actions, you should also be mature enough to take the consequences. The same way you have the absolute prerogative of your actions, you should also know that it is exclusively preserved of you to take the consequences. Do not have the feeling that consequences are transferable, because this will make you to take careless action. If you know that you will bear the full cost and consequences of your actions, you will know how to act.
You do not have to wait until others start to do good before you begin your own acts of goodness. Right from you, a difference can be created. The more good seed a farmer consciously sows in his farmland, the more good fruits he will harvest. If you have not been pleased with the kind of occurrences you have been seeing around your life, then it is time to check your actions and know where and when you have acted wrongly.
Every action you take, just like a seed, will definitely come back to you as results. Some may be immediate and some may take a while but the truth remains that the result must surely manifest. As much as you are in control of your present moment, you should also put your mind in the future. This is because the sum total of the actions that are undertaken in the present will form the future.
